Who We Are

We are artisan producers working in the heart of the Greek-speaking area. The agricultural enterprise was found by Beniamino and Rosa and improved over time thanks to our love for nature and passion for traditional products. Domenico, an enthusiastic and ambitious agronomist, has given life to a sustainable business idea to enhance an area that has historically witnessed ancient civilisations. The project aims to produce good wine and extra virgin olive oil, which have always been excellent local products, in a dynamic perspective of change and progress. Immersed in a charming place full of primitive beauty, we want to enhance the “terroir”, that exclusive relationship that links the vine to the microclimate and the mineral characteristics of the soil and which determines the absolute uniqueness of the wine. We are an opportunity, where intense flavors and natural wonders meet to give quality and emotions.

The Territory

The agricultural estate has a strategic position thanks to the proximity to the sea and mountains. It is located in the southernmost area of Calabria, within the Greek Area of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria. On one side it overlooks the Aspromonte National Park and on the other it faces the wide Amendolea river, with a panoramic view of the Ruffo Castle and the Ionian Sea, up to the mount Etna Volcano in nearby Sicily. The soil is stony-sandy, it has excellent drainage and does not retain humidity, giving a greater concentration of flavors in the fruits. The vineyards and olive groves are exposed to the sun from dawn to dusk. The temperate climate favors the cultivation of genuine products.

Our Mission

The agricultural company is dedicated to the cultivation of Merlot and Chardonnay vines and olive groves of various cultivars, mostly Sinopolis, for the production of elite wines and extra virgin olive oil.

We want to bring only healthy and genuine products on each consumer’s table, balancing tradition and innovation, and respecting the environment of which we are an integral part. We supervise all production processes, starting from cultivation up to the direct sale of the products, in order to ensure the best quality we can offer.

We aim to a sustainable economy by seizing and enhancing new growth opportunities.

The Harvest

The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and only thereafter processed with a pneumatic press. The olive harvest is carried out directly from trees by hand or with mechanical shredder and the milling on the same day.

The Processing

Every phase of the grape processing cycle and wine-making process takes place directly in our winery, where the raw materials are converted immediately after harvesting to ensure their organoleptic and nutritional properties remain unaltered.

No Pesticides, Just Nature

Both production and processing processes take place respecting the natural maturation time, avoiding the use of pesticides and chemical agents so as not to compromise the genuine qualities of the products.

Result

The final result is a high-quality product created by the union of ancient farming traditions with modern food science and technology. The selection of the raw materials is a guarantee of health and pleasure at the table.
